google translator doesn’t help :( what internet translator is the best?and what translator can translate something English into Chinese but into the English writing (haha I don’t know how to make sense of this)thanks

    Google Translate is the best, but Ubiquity’s translator is good too. Ubiquity is an add-on for firefox.

    None of them are very good. At best they will only let you get the gist of what is translated. At worst, you get nonsense.

    Try translating something from English to Chinese, then translate the Chinese back to English. Nearly always you get nonsense.

    Here is Google translates version of the beginning of my answer:

    “They are not very good. At best, they will let you translate the spirit of what. In the worst case, you talk nonsense.

    Trying to bring things from English to Chinese, then back to the United Kingdom in China. You almost always nonsense.”

    there are 2 steps for you to make

    1 translate from English to Chinese (cherecters)
    2 transform Chinese characters to pinyin (phonetic transcription)…

    there are no such “translators”…
